Festival Theatre, Cambridge Buddhist Centre, Saturday March 23rd

I am very much looking forward to performing in the Moonlight Mandolin Orchestra’s forthcoming concert at the Festival Theatre, Cambridge Buddhist Centre, Saturday March 23rd.

The Moonlights will be performing a repertoire that ranges from Greek folk tunes through the American ragtime of Scott Joplin to the Italian romanticism of Raffaele Calace. We will also be performing Vivaldi’s Concerto in D Major for Lute and Strings, RV 93, in an arrangement for mandolin orchestra and guitar.

We are delighted to be performing this piece with award-winning guitarist Daniela Rossi (http://www.danielarossiguitarist.com/), who will be giving a solo recital during the second half of the evening.

Daniela has won numerous performance awards and prizes across South America and Europe, including First Prize in the London International Guitar Competition (2015), Second Prize in the Heinsberg Guitar Competition and Festival in Germany (2017), and First Prize in the prestigious XXXVI Luis Sigall International Music Competition held in Viña del Mar, Chile (2009).

Doors open: 7:30 pm, concert starts 8:00 pm.

Tickets: Full price £12, concessions £9, free to under 12s.
